Alpine ski competition in the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, and Western Idaho is organized and conducted by the PNW. PNW and its competitions are organized under the guidelines of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
The field size will be limited to 100. Priority is given to host clubs (MHRTA and MRT) athletes then the cutoff will be determined by SL points. Out of division racers must have below 75 points (women) and 50 points (men) and must work with their divisional managers for eligibility. We hope to publish a competitors list to live-timing.com after registration is closed.

⇒Eligibility: All 2023-24 USSA licensed competitors, U14 and older are eligible to compete in the Golden Rose (born 2011 and earlier). Senior racers, ages 21 and older, must have less than 120 USSA SL points to enter. ⇒Field Size Limitations: The Golden Rose will be limited to 120 women and 120 men. If necessary, the field will be cut on April 11 by SL points on the current USSS points list. Per PNW Division Rules, host clubs (MHRTA & MRT) will be excluded from all field cuts. ATTENTION ALL 1st Year U14 Athletes & Parents: There is a field size limit and some years we have not allowed 1st Year U14’s to race due to the large field size. Please do not book accommodations until after the list is posted to live timing on April 11. ⇒Out of Division Entries: Out-of-division athletes will be considered on a case by case basis IF they meet the following point cutoffs: Slalom points under 75 for women and under 50 for men. Out-of-Division athletes must first be cleared through their Divisional Office and then must register on-line by the entry deadline.

PNW Elite Pass, Fusion Pass, and Timberline winter pass will be accepted at the Golden Rose. Timberline Spring Pass is an option you may wish to look into. A standard racer ticket is $75 per day and your bib must be shown at time of purchase.
