U14 Far West / PNW Performance Training Project

(U14 only – Selection by PNW from U14 qualifying race series.  Project runs concurrent with Western Region U14 Championships.  Athletes for this training project will be selected starting with Alternate #1 on both the Boys and Girls Selection List.)

 

U14 Far West/PNW Spring Performance Camp – Invitation Only

The Spring Performance Camp brings together U14 athletes from  Far West Division and  PNW Division that are not participating in the U14 Western Regional Championships. The project objective is to provide athletes the opportunity to improve their skiing skills while introducing athletes and coaches to each other to foster a healthy skiing environment. Athletes must be members in good standing of U.S. Ski & Snowboard, Far West Skiing &/or PNW for the 2023/2024 season, including any (X) foreign athletes. Athletes selected for Divisional Projects are required to participate in all events as scheduled.  The project will include three days – tech event-based training/racing and skills quest. This is NOT a race series.  
This is a PNW project and will include a named coaching staff, lodging, travel to/from hotel to ski area, Breakfast at the hotel each morning, dinner at the hotel Fri and Sat nights.  Registration Fee and Lift tickets will be purchased by athletes.  Travel from home to Sugar Bowl and back is not included in the price.  If flying to Reno, plan to arrive no later than 5pm.  A van will transport those who arrive in Reno by this time to the hotel.  If you arrive after 5pm you will need to make your own travel arrangements to the hotel.  If driving, plan to arrive at the hotel no later than 7pm.

♦Registration:  $150  Deadline 3/18/24  11:59pm  Coaches & Athletes must register.  Registration is password protected – invitee’s will receive the password once they confirm attendance.

♦Athlete Questionnaire:  Required for all attending.  You will not be confirmed until questionnaire is completed.

Athlete lift tickets: Child (6-12) are $39 and Young Adult (13-22) are $68. Discounted Parent tickets, for athletes on the start list, are $94. Tickets may be purchased at Judah or Village ticket windows for one or all days of racing. Judah ticket window opens at 7:30AM as a special accommodation for this event.

March 21 – Arrive at Hotel by 7pm   Flying to Reno, plan to arrive by 5pm.  A van will be available to drive from airport to Truckee.
March 22 – Training at Sugar Bowl
March 23 – Training at Sugar Bowl
March 24 – Training at Sugar Bowl          Depart for home.  Flying out of Reno after 4pm.
